Steven Eigsti, Passenger, Killed When Truck Veered Off Road Hitting Tree

On July 7, 2012, at approximately 9:00 a.m., Steven Eigisti, age 21, of Warsaw, Indiana, was killed while riding as a passenger in a 1999 Chevrolet Silerado on Indiana 15 south of Elkhart County Road, in Elkhart County, Indiana.

The pickup truck, which was hauling a trailer, veered off the west side of Indiana 15 and struck a tree for a currently unknown reason.

The truck was being driven by Brandon Eigsti, age 25, also of Warsaw, Indiana.  Steven was trapped in the vehicle, and was pronounced dead at the scene.  Brandon suffered minor injuries.
