Sheila Haynes focuses on insurance defense, personal injury, and class action suits. She has had vast paralegal experience since 2007 which has included performing duties as a legal assistant, an office manager, and as a paralegal working in large and small law firms. Previously, Sheila had the pleasure of working for The Honorable Bruce Embrey while employed at the Miami County Courthouse. Sheila has additionally worked for the Howard County Prosecutor’s Office regarding criminal matters and also has experience working for defense attorneys regarding criminal defense work. She has extensive knowledge in Wills, Trusts, and Estate planning, Family Law, Adoption, Guardianships, Immigration Law, and Corporate Law.
Sheila is a former 14-year Air Force Veteran who has traveled the world in the military footsteps of her grandfather and her uncle. She has an Associate Degree from Ivy Tech Community College. Sheila was born in Peru, Indiana, and grew up in Fort Wayne; she is happily married to Edward and has two adult children and two grandchildren. In her spare time, she assists in teaching Children’s Church and Vacation Bible School at Zion Chapel Church in Peru and has previously served several years with Miami County’s Court Appointed Special Advocates.
